I made this in two days, and i don’t care much whether you lot like it or not, as i’m proud of the fact it took me a weekend ;D. As the title suggests, it’s a glitch song, and i feel with the strings and piano (though you can hardly hear it) i managed to get a good mix of artificial and organic sounds. I’ll probably make improvements on it after i leave it to mature for a couple of months, so i shall upload it if i do. Oh, and here’s a nice picture, in case you feel like everyone else if smarter than you.

candle fail

nothing related to music as i would like to use this blog not as simply a tool to show off my (rather minimal) talent, but also as an actual blog about thoughts and new things i come across, and so, i give you a thought and something i came across.

Firstly, i recently discovered a fun site called Omegle (http://omegle.com/) where you simply click the big blue button and you are connected to a complete stranger. You can talk about anything, assuming the other person converses with yo and, you don’t have to share any information unless you want to. just look out for trolls (and there’s rather a lot of fins and Brazilians too but hell knows why). You never know you may meet me ;D

Moving on, i recently saw a film on television bout climate change, and although you may picture some boring lecture with a load of geeks in the audience, it’s actually a very interesting, mind opening and thought provoking film of a guy in a lecture with a load of geeks in the audience. It really is worth watching if you’re interested to know more about global warming and our consumption of the planet’s resources and, hopefully it will convince you enough to actually change your ways and try and convince others of things they can do; recycling; effecient driving, putting plugs in farm animals bums to stop them releasing so much methane. I was honestly amazed at how much damage this planet has taken so far, and yet it’s giving us a little longer to sort it out. If you don’t watch it, at least look out for things you can do to slow down the impact you’re having.

If you’re part of the next generation tell your parents to stop messing it up. If you’re a parent, remember you’re kids are the next generation.

This i think was the first proper song i did, and although i didn’t notice it at the time (i had these rather old blown speakers) it sounded aweful. I’ve made a “few” improvements and i love the beat. I’ve also changed the name. Anyway, hope you like. Hard trance (no?) in case you were wondering.

I’m gunna share with you a song a love too by Frontliner. I’m not a massive fan of trance/dance/etc music but for some reason i’ve made two of them already. but prepare for a nice change when i get the one i have flowing through the pipes finished. ;D

As some, but probably not most, may know i’ve started making a little bit of music. mostly messing about, experimenting with all the buttons and knobs. Keep an open mind as i’m only young in the music creating world and most of what i know is self-taught but nonetheless, i hope you enjoy at least one of my magical and (mostly =p) original songs.

as with most music, good quality sound equipment is best to fully appreciate what i’ve made. I’ve gone with the name DJ Greenie but its shit, you don’t need to tell me.

I’m going to show two songs for your listening pleasure - “OK” is fairly easy listening, think moby or massive attack etc. and “White elephant” is a hard trance song, not to everyones taste but i like that sort of crap.
